I am in college studying linguistics, literature, Swedish (I sing with a Swedish choir), and German. I enjoy conversation on all manner of topics (religion, politics, hobbits, weeds, Wallace and Gromit) and I don't even mind a little argument, provided that the other person argues in a friendly, fair, and rational way. I'm afraid that I'm not very good at gushing over pop stars, but I do like to talk about (old) movies, as well as literature (Tolkien, d---ens, Jane Austin, Beowulf). I enjoy working with my hands, particularly in the garden or on the loom or with knitting needles. I'll knit you a hat, if you like. I love linguistics, and may bore you with an analysis of your accent, so beware!

I'm a Catholic for doctrinal reasons, but when it comes to music, I'm a total protestant. Basically, I'm a Catholic who sings Wesley. I'm not very good at gushing about my personal religious experiences, but I will say that hymn singing with my family and in church (my church uses the 1940 Anglican Hymnal) has been extraordinarily important for me.

I am not very athletic, but I do enjoy being outdoors, and I am a fairly good walker. When I am outside I enjoy bird-watching, looking for wildflowers, and looking at scenery, and I dare say that I get as much enjoyment out of it as all of you joggers do. I do not have expensive tastes. I am generally more comfortable in the country than in the city. I also want the freedom to fulfill my responsibilities as a housekeeper, one of which is keeping an orderly (clean) house. I love children, and I would like to be a housewife. I would also like to homeschool my children.

I'M LOOKING FOR for a serious Catholic who is protestant-friendly, who likes to tell jokes and doesn't mind if I tell jokes too, who loves kids and animals, who doesn't care that I'm not an athlete or a glamor girl.
