Just looking around I guess the first thing I always feel compelled to say is that I'm very family oriented and I love kids! I'm the youngest of seven and have 7 nieces and nephews. I graduated this past May from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors degree in psychology, but am starting a 5 semester nursing program in January, which is a career I've been playing around with since I was in high school. I'm SO excited to start a career and start working toward a solid foundation for my future! Now I feel like I'm just rambling about random stuff that I've been thinking about lately. (Maybe that's the best way to do this anywho!)

Prayer and my faith is starting to take a bigger role in my life, and I'm still learning to put everything in God's hands and do what is asked of me each day. Wow.....now that the cheesy parts over with, here is some more fun stuff about me:
I spend a lot of my time listening to music, and learning to play guitar. I sing. A lot. But am too chicken to do an open mic night anywhere. I kind of need to grow a pair and just do it. I'm a pretty affectionate person and often wear my heart on my sleeve. (Contrary to what my temperance quiz results may say...) This usually leads to me embarrassing myself, but I think God gave me this trait for a reason....it'll serve me well someday (I hope!).
