Since my teen years, I've engaged in many unorthodox and unreserved behavior. After being in a 3 year relationship filled with such an urge to fulfill temporary happiness, I realized that this wasn't what God had in plan for me. Given that the man was everything I wanted on paper: tall, white, handsome, well-educated, sophisticated, well-dressed, family-oriented and aggressive --- the one thing he was lacking was his devotion with the Lord. Often, I struggled with having to choose between the one I love here on earth or the one I love in heaven. With the double life I living, I wasn't able to hold onto both. I think the most difficult struggle I had to endure thus far was sacrificing a beautiful relationship with someone I invested a lot in. However, it was clear that this wasn't who/what God had in store for me. I won't settle for someone who isn't willing to confess their love for Jesus openly, and set a good example towards those around him. I'm looking for someone who captures my attention, never leaves me bored, and captivates my heart to draw us closer to Him. Someone who can share the same love & passion I have with God, and evangelize His message with me. I've never been alone or single before, but taking this walk alone with the Father has certainly increased my faith. Whether God has someone prepared for me on this site or not is up to Him. However, I'm always interested in meeting people from all walks of life who can share their testimonies of growth with the Lord.
