Cradle Catholic turned Mature Catholic I was brought up in the faith by my mother, my eldest aunt and uncle (also my god-parents) and though I have at times had doubts about staying Catholic and even if God exists, I now feel that besides being raised in the faith and having a predominantly Mexican/Spanish Catholic heritage, while I don't agree with the Vatican on every issue and know that it has skeletons in its closet from history, I do believe that is the Bride of Christ and is a religion that is universal in nature and welcoming to all interested in joining.
