I am a divorced American woman/girl who wants a man who is the real deal. A companion and friend. Likes adventure, reading, exploring, history, architecture, picnics, conversation of all kinds. Is witty,fun and is down to earth but thinks upon things from above. Love animals and kids. Is kind and not prejudice nor mean hearted and treats people with respect yet can see the humor in human foibles.Is not adverse to express some critisism of whatever bothers them. As i will state what bothers me but i am not a moaner and am positive in my outlook and of all things i have in my heart...hope is the strongest. I do not like posers,liars,or revengers. My man must have no ''type'' of woman he is looking for as i do not fit any type...thank God! I look for a unique guy who is his ''own man''. (doesn't follow fashion, trend or whats popular but is cool anyway! I am a real woman and i say what i think and am independent yet dependent on the love and care of friends and family. I get on with my ex and my kids(two, grown). There was a ''war'' but peace has been made and there is contact but no chance of a future as i left and divorced my husband for good reasons. My daughter is a nun in Alabama with Mother Angela..the Poor Clare nuns and my son is here living with his dad down the road from my flat. I love to be on my own for awhile. I need solitude for my sanity. Yet i love the company of my trusted friends and family. I like to chat to people and get along with all sorts of people. I am amiable and easy going yet strong in my convictions. I have learned alot in my experiences. I need a man who is confident in his own skin and mind and heart. I realize we all have our weaknesses and insecurities of course but a man who when i am down can bring me up and when he is down can be brought up easily and not mope, hold grudges nor moan on and on. I don't mind a few spars as they can be exciting if they are healthy and we both learn from them. My faith is strong,love pure. see ya
