Once a Catholic Always a Catholic Haven't been to Mass since my mother passed away in 2004. Not sure I want to return to local churches with their cloying sentimentality, obsessive socializing, & insipid sermons. Wished I could attend Mass at the Vatican. Love going on long retreats of meditation & prayer. Miss the Eucharist! Yearn for the embrace of the Eternal Beloved! (N.B. Photo was taken in July 1992!)
